Royal Pride Band Family- Thank you for supporting the McKinney High School Royal Pride Band. The Royal Pride Band proudly represents McKinney High School, McKinney ISD, and the McKinney community through a long-standing tradition of excellence, pride, discipline, and service. All band students at McKinney High School are members of the Royal Pride Band. Throughout the year, the RPB performs at pep rallies, varsity football games, selected marching competitions, and community events, while consistently earning first division ratings at UIL Region contests and competing at Bands of America Regional and Super Regional events. The Royal Pride Band has been a consecutive UIL Area Finalist since 2023, reflecting the continued growth and commitment of our students and staff. The Royal Pride Band is also honored to represent McKinney High School internationally, with a performance at the St. Patrick’s Day celebration in Ireland this March. As we look ahead, the RPB is entering an exciting new chapter, highlighted by its inaugural appearance at the Bands of America Grand National Championships in Indianapolis next season, marking a major milestone in the history of our program. Your support allows us to continue building a program that challenges students, fosters leadership, and creates meaningful, life changing experiences through music.
