On Friday, December 15th, as most Prosper students were anticipating the beginning of the Christmas break, the Little Family was hit with some devastating news. After several days of Jaxson feeling weak, exhausted and experiencing pain and bruising, Valerie took him to the ER for an assessment. He was diagnosed with T-lymphoblastic Leukemia and admitted immediately to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas. Scans and procedures are currently being conducted to get more details. The picc line was installed today and chemotherapy is planned to begin as early as tonight. Jaxson was finally able to eat after almost 24 hours without food. He has had several visitors throughout the day and the Littles are so thankful for all of the support and prayers over the last 24 hours.
Over the next weeks/months, Jaxson will undergo extensive treatments and therapies. If you want to follow Jaxson’s road to recovery story, you can also follow his Caring Bridge site here:

Jaxson is a sophomore at PHS and a dedicated basketball and baseball player. He has an infectious personality, amazing work ethic, and is loved beyond measure. He is strong, courageous, and a faith-filled young man. Jaxson, his sister Payton, and his parents will have a challenging journey ahead.
Our Prosper community is such a blessing, and we wanted to extend our love and encouragement to the Little Family by creating this fundraising page. Countless people are asking what they can do to help show their support for Jaxson, so here is our answer. Your help can make a significant impact on the Little family by financially helping them during this challenging time so they can focus on what's most important: getting Jaxson home and healthy. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a difference in Jaxson’s life and to the Little family. Our hope is to overwhelm them with our faith, strength and love to encourage Jaxson on his journey back to health. Please consider making a donation to lessen some of the financial burden so they can focus on Jaxson and his road to recovery.
In addition to helping with mounting medical expenses and time away from work, your prayers are also welcome and needed. We know that the Lord is our Faithful Healer. Your prayers WILL make an impact on Jaxson’s healing plus they will give Jason and Valerie strength and discernment while making these big decisions on his care. A Prayer Vigil is being held at Prosper High School on Monday, December 18th on the front steps of the high school at 5pm. Please come and show your support.
In the coming days we will have a link to purchase bracelets, stickers, and shirts as another way to show the Little family our support. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Little family.
We pray for healing in Jesus’ name and welcome your thoughts and prayers.
With love and appreciation, Wendy Marshall and Krystle Meyer (friends of the Littles’ and Fellow Basketball Parents)
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. ~Jeremiah 17:14
